Tong Fuk River is located at Tong Fuk, Lantau. It is an Ecologically Important Stream. It drains water from the area near Kau Nga Ling and flows southward into the bay area south of Lantau Island.

The watercourse is channelized with rip-rap lining and gabion and concrete embankment. Vegetation colonization in the upstream section is limited, with common herbs recorded within the crevices of the boulders. More vegetation colonizes at the middle and the downstream sections of the watercourse. Wetland plants, other common herbs and shrub are found along the watercourse. The downstream section and the estuary are found to be covered with invasive plants.

Dominated plants recorded in the woodland area include fruit trees and self-sown trees. Floristic diversity in the understorey of these woodlands is considered low because the woodlands are often covered by weedy herbs and climbers.

A small plantation area is situated at the meander of the watercourse. It is a young plantation dominated by trees and shrubs.

Developed area includes village houses and parking areas in Tong Fuk. Common fruit trees, ornamental plants are recorded in the village areas.
