Browsers and Operating Systems
The HTML 4.01 standard has been applied to the webpages on the DSD Homepage, and users can access them with any browser that complies with the standard. But exactly how a webpage is displayed differs between browsers, computers and operating systems.

For the best viewing experience, we suggest that you enable JavaScript and allow cookies on your browser. If you disable JavaScript and cookies, you may not be able to use some of the special features in the DSD Homepage such as the text size buttons and personalised colours. Hong Kong Supplementary Character Set (HKSCS)
The Hong Kong Supplementary Character Set (HKSCS) contains Chinese characters that are specific to the Hong Kong environment and are used by the public and the Government in electronic communications. By using the HKSCS, the public and the Government share a common set of characters to make electronic communications more effective and accurate.
To view and input Chinese characters in HKSCS, you may need to install additional software. Please visit the following website for detailed information.
