The watercourse is channelized section with concrete channel bed and grassed cellular concrete embankment. Common grass and herbs can be found on the embankments. Wetland plants and grass can be found in the waterbody. The meander is largely vegetated with grass and herbs along the stream banks.

The woodland is dominated by secondary growth of weedy tree with the remaining areas being covered by self-seeded trees.

The grassland area is mainly abandoned agricultural lands. This area is largely covered by grass, herbs and climbers.

Several agricultural lands are found in the nearby area. Common crops are cultivated in these dry agricultural lands. A few fruit trees are also grown in this habitat.

The developed area mainly includes Ping Kong village and its access road. Fruit trees and ornamental plants are planted in the village.
