The watercourse comprises a semi-natural and a channelized sections. Patches of wetland herbs and grass can be found in the waterbody of the semi-natural section. The riparian zone is commonly vegetated with tree, subshrub and grass. The embankments of the channelized section are lined either with concrete or gabion baskets. The gabion embankment is heavily covered by weedy climbers.

Plantation comprising self-seeded trees could be found along the channelized section of Chueng Po Stream. The understorey development is quite limited and restricted to common herbaceous plants.

Grass Cover |
The grassland area is mainly abandoned agricultural land. This area is largely covered by common grass and herbs. Scattered patches of woody plants can be found in this habitat.

Orchard |
An orchard is located at the southeastern part of the area. This area is largely planted with fruit trees. Herbaceous plants and small tree seedlings can also be founded.

The developed area mainly includes village and West Rail Line. Vegetation in the villages includes planted fruit trees, invaded common herbs and some isolated trees.
