The DSD clinched two major awards in the biennial Civil Service Outstanding Service Awards, namely, Silver Prize in Departmental Service Enhancement Award (Large Department Category) and Gold Prize in Team Award (Specialised Service). Project Team of Community Building with a Harmonised "Hui" also won the Special Citation Award (Interactive Communication with the Public).
