Architectural Design (Mountain Pulse ‧ Water Move)

Lower Shing Mun Reservoir

The outfall structure is designed in the shape of an arrowhead, indicating the direction of water flowing out of the IRTS tunnel.

Kowloon Byewash Reservoir

The architectural fins illustrating ridgelines and water flowing amongst mountains are extending from Cheung Yuen Road to the intake structure.

Kam Shan Country Park

An interactive monument made from recycled timber is set up in the barbecue area of Kam Shan Country Park to commemorate the successful completion of the project.

In addition, project information signage is set up at both the barbecue area of Kam Shan Country Park and Wilson Trail Section 6 (directly above the tunnel) to help visitors learn about the IRTS project and its significance.
