The Macau Institution of Engineers visited Happy Valley Underground Stormwater Storage Scheme

Chairman of the Macau Institution of Engineers, Mr WU Chou-kit, and their members visited Happy Valley Underground Stormwater Storage Scheme in the afternoon of 10th February.

The project team introduced the vision and mission of DSD, as well as the strategy of flood prevention, innovative elements and design features of the HVUSSS, including the “Movable Weir” system, co-use of land arrangement, and the water harvesting system, etc. The guests then visited the turfed slope above the pump house and the underground stormwater storage tank.
