The Jordan Valley Channel was named as the Jordan Valley Nullah before revitalisation. It mainly conveys rainwater collected from catchment areas in the vicinity of Fei Ngo Shan and Ngau Tau Kok for eventual discharge into the Victoria Harbour. By applying the concept of “Rivers in the City”, the revitalisation works of the Jordan Valley Nullah commenced in March 2020 , and opened to the public in April 2022. Drainage Services Department wishes to share with readers on our revitalisation works at the Jordan Valley Channel, illustrating the enhancement of the link between the river and the local community through the introduction of revitalisation facilities for the water body, and the greening, ecological and sustainability elements in the project through photographs.
