Dr. Patrick Lee is an Assistant Professor in the School of Energy and Environment at the City University of Hong Kong. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Queen’s University in Canada, and his Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in environmental engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He carried out post-doctoral training also at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Lee’s research interests are environmental engineering and microbiology with applications to energy and wastewater systems. Recent efforts focused on anaerobic digestion as a means to treat organic solid waste and to produce energy.
