DSD awarded Contract No. DC/2022/06 “Village Sewerage in Muk Wu, Lo Wai, Chuen Lung and Kau Wa Keng Old Village”

The Drainage Services Department signed a works contract of about $198 million with Max China Engineering Limited on 5 September 2022. The works include construction of about 1 kilometres (km) of gravity sewers, 1.3 km of twin rising mains and a sewage pumping station at Muk Wu; and construction of about 4.6 km of gravity sewers at Lo Wai, Chuen Lung Village and Kau Wa Keng Old Village. This 39-month works contract commenced on 30 August 2022.
