Principal Functions and Duties
- Overseeing operation, maintenance and minor improvement works of drainage and sewerage systems in Hong Kong & Islands region
- Overseeing district drainage matters in Hong Kong & Islands region such as vetting drainage proposals of town planning applications and building drainage submissions for developments, providing drainage connections and providing advice on Government and other projects affecting drainage facilities
- Overseeing risk assessment of DSD trees, engineer inspection and upgrading of DSD slopes
- Overseeing maintenance of building and civil engineering structures of sewage treatment and flood control facilities
